Mark your calendar for September 3, 2010. We will again host Michael Martin Murphy in concert as our next "FUN-draiser"!! Michael is always a great performer and his last two shows have been sell-outs and everyone had a great time. We are happy to make our fund-raisers into real fun for everyone that attends. The entire community appreciates our efforts and it helps in our efforts to build our Holy Angels church. Thanks to all of you for supporting these events.

We all welcome Father Immanuel Izuka, our new Pastor. He came to us in July and is probably just getting adjusted to all the travel he does. Father, like previous Pastors, lives in Springer and travels to Immaculate Conception in Cimarron, St. Mel's in Eagle Nest, and Holy Angels in Angel Fire, plus other small mission churches. Father came to us from St. Jude Thaddeus in Albuquerque, NM. Father John Cannon has been assigned to work as a Vicar in Albuquerque with Archbishop Michael Sheehan. We wish you well, Father John.

Please mark your calendar for June 26th, 7:00 to 11:00 pm. That's the date for the 1960's Theme Dinner, Dance and Auction which is our fund-raiser for this month. Last year we had the 1950's theme and it was a riot of fun! This year it will be a Mexican dinner and the auction promises many wonderful items. See you there!

Most of you probably are aware that Father John Cannon has been reassigned and will be leaving us by the first week of July. We will miss him and hate to see him go, but hope he enjoys his new position as assistant to Archbishop Sheen.

Our new Pastor will be coming from St. Jude's Church in Albuquerque. His name is Father Emmanuel Izuka. We hope everyone will make him feel welcome and help him in his new job.

Mass is held each Saturday at 5:30 pm at the Angel Fire Community Center. Our Pastor, Father John Cannon presides on most Saturdays.
